Wild Ram
The Ram lives among the Red Stag and Fallow Bucks and graze out in the open.
Any type of Wild Ram is a great addition to a hunter’s trophy collection. All feral rams have curling horns about 1 ½ curls on each side of its head. We hunt both the Arapawa (South Pacific) and Merino Rams which come in many colors, black, chocolate brown, white patches or motley colored. The Arapawa is often known as the ‘Rasta Ram’ because of it’s Bob Marley dreadlocks. You will often find the largest of the rams in the herd is protected by the other rams which can make this hunt challenging and fun. Hunting for Rams is exciting and very worthwhile whether using rifle or bow.
